Data controller

The operator of the application and the controller of personal data is the club Roadrunners Car Club (hereinafter the “club” or “we”). Contact for personal data protection matters: info@roadrunners.cz.

This policy applies to the Roadrunners member application — the web version at app.roadrunners.cz as well as the versions distributed via Google Play and the App Store.

What data we process

• Identification and contact data: first name, last name, e-mail, city, and where applicable, phone number.
• Profile and content: profile photograph, vehicle photographs and vehicle details, posts and messages in the application, and records of participation in club events.
• Payment data: information necessary to match payments (variable symbol, amount). Payments are made by bank transfer; we do not process payment card numbers.
• Technical data: sign-in sessions, an identifier for sending push notifications, and basic diagnostic data.

Why we process data

• Operation of membership and the application (performance of contract / legitimate interest) — sign-in, profile, garage, feed, events, chat.
• Organisation of events and payments (performance of contract) — event registration, payment matching, transactional e-mails.
• Notifications (consent) — push notifications; these can be turned off at any time in the app profile and in your device settings.

Who we share data with

We host and process data through carefully selected providers acting as processors:

• Supabase — database, file storage and authentication.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend — sending of transactional e-mails.
• Google (Play, push) — notification delivery and application distribution.
• Komerční banka — payment matching.

With providers processing data outside the EU, we have appropriate contractual safeguards in place (standard contractual clauses).

How long we retain data

We retain personal data for the duration of membership and thereafter for the period strictly necessary to fulfil legal obligations. Upon termination of membership, we delete or anonymise the data, with the exception of records we are required to retain (e.g. accounting documents).

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent. You can request the deletion of your account and data directly in the application or by e-mail at info@roadrunners.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.cz).

Children

The application is intended for adult club members and is not intended for persons under 16 years of age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. The date of the last update is stated below.
